Have questions? You’re in the right place! This page covers some of the most common things clients ask — from booking and rescheduling to what to wear and how to prep for your session. Do you travel?
I do, but it kind of depends! I work a 9-5, so my availability really comes down to when the sun sets and how far I need to travel. I’m a lot more flexible on weekends and during the longer summer days. In the winter, though, when it gets dark earlier, I have less availability and usually take on fewer bookings.
What a retainer + What is your amount?
A retainer fee is a non-refundable payment that reserves your date and ensures my availability—it's applied toward your total session cost. I do require a 50% retainer to book a session. From the time I send you an invoice, you have two days to pay & sign! After that, you're booked!
Do you do newborn sessions?
I’m gonna be super honest when it comes to newborn photography — it’s not really my specialty. It truly takes a special skill set to work with newborns, and I just don’t have enough experience yet! That said, I do know some AMAZING local newborn photographers who are amazing with newborn sessions, and I’d be more than happy to recommend them to you if you'd like!
How long does it take to get our photos back?
Depending on the season & how busy I am sometimes its as soon as a couple of days after our session or up to 2 weeks after our session..
How are photos delivered?
All of my photos are delivered via an online gallery using this site, Pixieset, which allows you and/or your party to view and download your photos on any device. I recommend you back up all of your images on a hard drive! (I can not keep all photos)
How do i submit a payment?
My payment methods are: vemmo, cashapp, apple pay, and square! (I do not accept checks or cash!)
How should I/We Dress?
Whatever makes you feel most comfortable! It really depends on the location, but I usually recommend avoiding super busy patterns and keeping the setting in mind. For example, if we’re shooting in a green field, it’s probably best not to wear green so you don't blend in.
DO YOU CHOOSE THE LOCATION?
I'll send you a location guide to choose from, but ultimately it's up to you! I'm happy to help choose if you're not sure where you'd like to have your session.
Do you do events?
Whether its a birthday party,, wedding, a proposal, or even a work event, I can do it! I do have certain packages when it comes to these and do not have them listed on my Investment page. If you would like to book an event with me or if you have any questions on pricing or how to receive a quote, please don't hesitate to fill out a contact form.
May I cancel or reschedule?
Yes! I completely understand, life happens! If you need to reschedule, I will do my best to accommodate you based on my availability. Please just let me know at least 2 days in advance. If you need to cancel your session for any reason, the retainer is non-refundable. The retainer covers the reserved date, and time, along with the planning.
